As the largest trade show in the pet industry, Global Pet Expo attracts hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of retailers as well as some of the biggest media outlets in the country. Leading up to the show, during and after it, hundreds of details and messages must be communicated to the respective groups attending the show.
In order to provide attendees with their preferred method of communication, we created created specific channels geared toward exhibitors, buyers and media. Through custom designed Global Pet Expo Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages and feeds, an interactive website, a blog, a mobile website and Global Pet Expo TV, the various audiences could receive only the information applicable to them and share their information with others. We also conducted a webinar for attendees showing them how to effectively utilize these tools to make their show experience a success.
Last year’s show sold out, exhibitor, buyer and media attendance were at an all time high. The Today Show went live from the show, Good Morning America covered the show as well as countless other media outlets. In addition, the largest coalition of pet industry bloggers Blog Paws attended and covered the show.
